If you’re rolling for personal consumption, you can purchase a pre-rolled joint already filled with ground cannabis or use an empty cone to fill and pack your joint manually. For commercial production, many dispensaries and cannabis processors prefer a pre-roll machine, such as the Mini-RocketBox for efficiency and product consistency.

Hand rolling joints in a commercial setting isn’t a practical method of production. Each full-time employee rolling joints can cost a minimum of $28,800 per year or more, while a one-time investment in a machine can lead to 100x to 500x faster production, lower overhead costs, and a quick return on investment.

RocketBox technology creates varying frequencies of vibration that are concentrated in the bottom cone holding tray. Versus shaking, this method allows for the material itself to vibrate down evenly layer by layer into each cone –avoiding air pockets, weak necks and other inconsistencies.

There are 3 cycle stages, each with 3 fully customizable settings: PSI (20-90), Motor Speed (1%-100%), and Duration – all allowing the operator to work with a variety of different material types, densities, and strains and achieve desired results.

Beginning with the cone tray suspended in air during the cycle, the first stage (“filling”) starts by emitting light vibrations to agitate the material and begin layering itself in the cone.

The second stage (“packing”) then emits more intense vibrations and a bounce to pack the pre-roll.

Stage three (“optional final pack”) is optional.

Aside from a wide range of customizations, the unique RocketBox tray system includes funnels that directly taper inside of the papers below, allowing for better weight accuracy, fill rates, product quality, and consistency.

RocketBox fills and packs up to 453 pre-rolls every 2-3 minutes, while the Mini-RocketBox fills and packs 143 pre-rolls every 45 seconds.

While some companies twist the ends, we highly recommend against twisting the end as it creates issues of canoeing/running (uneven burning down one side). Twisted joints can also vary in appearance & height from one to the next and become less suitable for packaging. Our preferred method is the Dutch Crown (a flat, almost crown-like appearance) which is quicker and allows the user to ignite the joint like a cigar for a smooth, even burning pre-roll.

Yes. The motor (vibrations) can be set between 1%-100%, typically on the higher end. You can also alter the PSI in conjunction with the motor to adjust the bounce and for tighter or looser vibrations.

Dropping Cones: 5-10 mins

STM takes safety very seriously. While a machine itself cannot be GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certified, our machine is GMP compliant. We follow strict standards to meet OSHA compliance and use only the highest quality, commercial-grade components.

With fast output and increased quality, the RocketBox eliminates tedious steps and allows you to achieve higher profit margins with lower labor costs and overhead.

For example, to produce 5,000 pre-rolls on our closest competitor’s machine, you would have to run a minimum of 17 cycles as opposed to only 11 cycles with the RocketBox produce the same volume.

Our machines are all up to the proper electrical standards that would allow you to make an appointment to have someone come out to certify your machine once it arrives in your facility. The 3rd party components of the machine are all UL certified or listed under CE or another listing.

Yes. The general weight variance is 10% +/-, which we help you dial-in further with training and bulk density testing. Each bottom tray size has its own range of weights that can be achieved with each paper size (see Compatible Cones page within brochure). You can dial-in your weight further by adjusting your grind size, paper size and/or machine settings.

The RocketBox is constructed of 304 Food-Grade Stainless Steel, with certain accessories being food-grade and industrial aluminum/plastic. Technical documents and information can also be found here in the STM Dropbox folder.

Each Bottom Tray is designated for a specific industry standard size paper (see the Compatible Cones page on the brochure for specific measurements). Any reputable, quality paper brand can be used so long as the cone is a compatible size. To inquire about ordering pre-rolled cones, please either call our consumables department at (509) 204-3161 or visit the STM Store.

  • .5g/84 MM Bottom Tray = 1-1/4″ Size
  • .7g/98 MM Bottom Tray = 98 MM Special
  • 1g/109 MM Bottom Tray = King Size

***Please note, the Mini-RocketBox is not compatible with Cigarettes, Reefer or Slim Sizes.

The RocketBox is only compatible with cone-shaped papers. Our proprietary two-tray system is set up so that the cones sit snug in the cone slots in order to remain suspended in air during the cycle, whereas a cigarette/skinny cylinder would fall right through the slot.

It’s about 4′ tall x 3.5′ wide (17” L X 48” H X 43” W).

There are no special power requirements to operate the STM RocketBox. The RocketBox plugs into a standard 110v receptacle (like a home would have). It has a 15 amp breaker but only pulls about 5 amps (similar to a household vacuum). Additional technical documents and information can also be found here in the STM Products Dropbox folder.

The STM RocketBox machine in its entirety is not UL Listed, however, all parts and components of the machine are all OSHA compliant and listed under various listings. Please feel free to review the STM Dropbox folder as our RocketBox Listed Components sheet is available there for your reference.

Mini- RocketBox technology creates varying frequencies of vibration that are concentrated in the bottom cone holding tray. Versus shaking, this method allows for the material itself to vibrate down evenly layer by layer into each cone –avoiding air pockets, weak necks, and other inconsistencies.

The Mini-RocketBox has a fully adjustable motor speed dial from 1%-100% with low, medium and high markers. With the PSI automatically built-in, the operator can use the variable dial to adjust the motor speed and therefore work with a variety of different material types, densities and strains.

By ensuring the proper pack is made during the cycle, less manual work is required after exiting the machine. The unique RocketBox tray system also includes funnels which directly taper inside of the papers below, allowing for better weight accuracy, fill rates, product quality and consistency.

1. Choose desired speed (low/med/high) for auger system and (low/med/high) for blade system. Initiate Start/Stop on the touch screen control panel before adding material into the hopper, where the auger system will then begin to pull the material down into the blade area.

2. Material is cut by proprietary, highly polished stainless steel serrated blades before falling through 1 of 2 interchangeable particle screens.

3. As material reaches the optimal size and exits the screen, the anti-clog agitator creates vibrations which push the final product down and out the chute for easy collection into a bin below.

Heat and friction may occur in the case of a clog but would not generally apply in standard use due to the application of a lower RPM. Many competitors do operate at a significantly high RPM (upwards of 25,000-37,000 RPM) where temperatures can begin to evaporate and cause damage to highly valuable terpenes and cannabinoids.

The ideal size of a particle or bud for use in the STM Revolution is 2″ inches or less. Because the throat of the hopper is around 3″ inches in diameter, pieces entering the machine larger than 2″ inches may cause clogging or a blockage in the system.

The STM Revolution machine in its entirety is not UL Listed, however, all parts and components of the machine are all OSHA compliant and listed under various listings. Please feel free to review the STM Dropbox folder as our Revolution Listed Components sheet is available there for your reference.

STM Canna takes safety very seriously. While a machine itself cannot be GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certified, our machine is GMP compliant. We follow strict standards to meet OSHA compliance and use only the highest quality, commercial-grade components.

For operator safety and efficiency, the STM Revolution is fully enclosed in 304 Stainless Steel and is very effective in limiting particulates from being spout outside of the machine. The material enters through an enclosed hopper and then cycles through the system without any place for exposure before exiting the chute and directly into a collection bin.

Please also note that our system does not pulverize the material in a way that knocks off a heavy amount of trichomes – which otherwise could create lots of kief and upends more particle ‘dust’ into the air. We recommend using a 27-gallon collection bin with a lid to place under the chute (hole may be cut into the bin equal to the size of the chute to have the bin remain fully enclosed as well).

The STM Revolution is equipped with both a hopper and chute for a continuous feed, however, the throughput depends on the quality and the moisture level of your material as well as nug and stem size.

The unit may process up to 400 lbs of flower daily. Please view this video for important information on material preparation – Revolution Grinder Pre-Prep.

The STM Revolution cuts and slices material with precision, whereas whipping/milling blasts the trichomes off of the plant with force. An analogy would be using scissors to cut something vs. thrashing or whipping something around to break it down.

The Revolution is constructed of 304 Food-Grade Stainless Steel. Technical documents and information can also be found here in the STM Products Dropbox folder.

Our machines are all up to the proper electrical standards that would allow you to make an appointment to have someone come out to certify your machine once it arrives in your facility. The 3rd party components of the machine are all either CE or UL certified.

The STM Revolution plugs into a 220v receptacle. Technical documents and information can be found here in the STM Dropbox folder.

The Mini-Revolution grinder only requires a standard 110v outlet.

Using the Mini-Revolution is simple. Pull back the pushrod, place material in chute and press forward to grind.

The Mini-Revolution is a capable machine. Throughput volume depends your material and operator speed. In our testing, we were able to consistently push through a pound in 1-2 minutes easily. Your results may vary.

Yes, the Mini-Revolution does a remarkable job keeping stems and seeds intact for easy sifting and maintaing the purity of your flower.

The Mini-Revolution is mostly maintenance free other than regular thorough cleanings which is recommended after each use.

The Mini-Revolution’s design allows for safe operation, keeping the operator away from blades. There is a limit safety switch to prevent the machine motor and blades from running if front plate is removed (blades exposed) or not installed properly. The Mini-Revolution is OSHA compliant.

Yes, the Mini-Revolution is very easy to clean. Remove the wing nuts and associated parts (allen wrench may be required), clean with soap and water or isopropyl alcohol, let dry, reassemble and you’re good to go. Don’t forget to clean the blades.
